CROQUET.
The ollicial opening of the local croquet lawn will take place at 2 o’clock to-morrow afternoon. Visitors are expected from the Levin, Manawatu and Feilding Clubs. Play will take place on the croquet lawn, and also on half of the bowling green. On the croquet lawn golf croquet will be played, arid on the bowling green a twenty-minutes, tournament wall be held. The prizeq for both competitions are the Awahou Mallets. The refreshments will be provided by the ladies. ■
