A book purchased for fourpenee in Earringdon Road, London, was found to contain a £5 note and two shillingsworth of stamps. It was created for presentation to the Queen of the Belgians as a slight token of France’s gratefulness for the tremendous service done to humanity by Belgium in 1914.
