During the running of this Extra Express the ordinary 12.45 p.m. Wellington-Auekland Express will NOT take up passengers at Palmerston North, Mercer, or intermediate stations. Passengers from these stations must travel by the Extra Express leaving Wellington at 2.0 p.m., or by the Express leaving Palmerston North on 21st and / 23rd December only, at 2.35 p.m. The ordinary train leaving Wanganui at 4.15 p.m. for Palmerston North will -connect at Marton with the Wellington-Auekland Express.
