BARTON’S CIRCUS.

On Friday next, 20th hist., Foxton will be visited by Barton’s Circus. This well-known organisation lias spread its fame far and wide, because of its unique and original character, and it is certain it will receive a warm welcome. Mrs F. ■I. Barton is deserving of much credit for the way she has re-or-ganised the circus in every, way. The large up-to-date two-pole tent, supplied with electric light, has plenty of seating accommodation, being one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. In addition to the special attraction to the public in the way of comfort, Mrs Barton»has secured by special engagement (he three flying Lees, the most daring mid-air performers yet seen inside a circus. The Daring Deans, throe ladies on one wire; de Car, the king of comedy acrobats, and the return of (he three Altons; little Toa Freda, late of the latest Sydney and Melbourne pantomimes, who is called (lie elastic marvel; the three Martinettis, the hounding button bursters, in their comedy bar act. This is a laugh, a scream, a yell from start to finish. Marvon, the man: Marguerite, the intrepid lady rider; Benhamo, (he clever upside-ditwn man and balancer; Geo. Alton’s nine ladderitcs, in their famous ladder act; also the return of Denny, the laugh provoker, and the farewell appearance of (he fra da hoys, the famous I ambling violinists; the Bonoers, six posing plastiques in marble slat alary of ever-changing colours. Last, but not least, the .highly-trained horses, ponies and donkeys, and the new brass hand under the baton of Mr J. McGuire. The whole show is under the direction and management of Mrs F. J. Barton, who invites the confidence of the public, feeling sure she will receive, as she has done in the past, their esteem and patronage.
