QUEEN AND THE WORKERS.
INTEREST IN THEIR WELFARE
English papers relate the iael, that when the Dominion editors and journalists were received by Die King and Queen at Windsor Uslo one' of the visitors, (hiding hmise! somewhat at a loss for a subject of conversation with the Queen, asked whether she had thought or heard anything about problems connected with Socialism and reconstruction. He found that Her Majesty had heard a great deal about these matters, and she informed him that it was her sincere desire that whatever reconstruction was eifccted should increase the comfort and happiness of the workers, who, she observed, after all, form the great majority of the nation.
