Tim public is in possession of the facts concerning the Committee's actions, hut is left in the dark concerning the view-point of the head teacher in submitting the case to (he teachers and the discussion thereon, for despite the resolution which the head teacher lias forwarded ns for publication, wo are informed that the head teacher's views did not meet with the complete endorsement of the staff. Tim Committee lias its statutory powers concerning the government of the school, and if anything is done not in accordance with constitutional procedure it is open for any one to submit same to the Board for investigation. Recommendations or suggestions by the head teacher are at all times acceptable, and may be embodied in his monthly report. Outside this procedure the teacher is treadling upon dangerous ground and entering a field of activity which is contrary to the regulations. If the householders arc not
satisfied with the personnel or administration of a committee, it is afforded a yearly opportunity of replacing them.
