A slip occurred on llio Main Trunk line on Thursday night at 0 o’clock, one and a half miles north of Mataroa, at the same spot as that which occurred on November Bth, when a (rain ran into the obstruction with fatal results. The present landslide is a continual ion at the previous one, and the line is covered ten feet deep for a distance of twenty-live yards. The express leaving Tailmpc was delayed until midnight. The running of all trains north of Tailmpc has been suspended, except the expresses. Mon to clear the line were seal out the same ('veiling, hut the line will not he cleared for two days. Tl is said that I here are indications that Iho Avhole hillside is moving.
