BOWLING.
There was a good muster of bowlers on the green yesterday afternoon, and a start was made with the pairs competition for the gold medals presented by Mr W. Adams. The following are the results of the games played: —Furrie and Bryant (5) 17, beat Admore and D. Whibloy (scr.) 12; Foilet and M. H, Walker (2) 25, beat Huntley and Christie (2) 10; Foilett and M. H. Walker (2) 19, beat Admore and D. Whibley (scr.) 12; Furrie and Bryant (5) 24, beat Huntley and Christie (2) 9.
