Hogge, ALP., speaking on’Hie pensions question at a meeting at Liverpool, created much amusmpnt hy muling the following' letter recently received hy an ex-sol-dier: “The Minister of Pensions has decided to continue your pension at the rate of 22s fid per week from the 21st of July, 19. J& to the 31st of July, 1919; then at the rate of 19s (id for life, at the expiration of which you will again he medically examined with a view to the consideration of your claim for a further pension.”
