The shop on Saturday last was under the charge of Misses Hay (2), Woodnid’e, Lawson-Brown, and M.cMurray, of (he staff of the local Slate school, and good business was done, illß 14s (id being raised fun the Wounded Soldiers’ Fund. Competitions - were won as follows; —• Dinner, Miss L. Signal, No. GO; doll’s furniture, Mrs Furrie, No. 53; camisole, Mrs Eranklyn, No. 15; dressed doll, Marion Kirklcy, No. 28; walking sticks, Mr Bullard. No* 23. Gifts arc acknowledged from; Mosdames P. Robinson, ' Harvey, Furrie, Brewer, Skellen, A. Russ, Lash, Hensky, Healey, Thymic, Patterson, Iledley, McColl, John Robinson, F. Robinson, Davis, Spiers, Maine, F. Hudson, J. 11. Robinson, Daniell, Cowley, Procter, Hornblow, Hoyden, Easton, Francis, Arthur Green, C. Robinson, Woodroofe, Chrystall, Henrieksen, Misses MeMurray, Eileen Lawson-Brown, Morgan, Madge Patterson. Speffs, Woodruffe, Messrs Barber, Skellen, Grant, Tbynne, Chung AVah, Spiers, Tai AVali and Co. On Saturday next the shop will lie under the charge of Mosdames MeMumiy and Renton, and proceeds will be devoted to the AVounded Soldiers’ Fund.
