FURTHER. DEATHS AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, Nov. 3. Fifteen deaths directly traceable to influenza are kuoAvu to have occurred on Saturday aud to-day. Probably others are not yet reported. Three deaths occurred in one house. The NeAvton police broke into a house in Cook Street to-day, and found a man and his wife seriously ill from the complaint from having had no attendance. M hen the ambulance arrived the man Avas dead. NarroAV Neck camp is iioav generally affected, and one unlive soldier is dead. The Board of Education decided to (dose the city and suburban schools during the influenza epidemic, and to recommend the city- authorities to lake the responsibility of closing picture shows to children. RECRUITS’ MOBILISATION POSTPONED. Wellington, Nov. 4. In consequence of the inllucnza at Auckland, the Defence- authorities have decided not to mobilise (he, Auckland quota of recruits, 130 of Avhom Avere to enter camp this w’cck. It is probable, 100, that a number of Rarolongans, Avho Avere expected to arrive in Xcav Zealand shortly, Avil! bo sent back to their homes. Four medical officers have been released from military duty, and they left for Auckland on Saturday.

Influenza is spreading in Palmerston. UpAvards of sixty cases are reported at Awapuni Camp.
