BOWLING.
The official opening of the Levin Bowling green took place yesterday afternoon. Owing to the absence of the president (Mr J. McIntyre) through illness, the opening cei’cmonv was performed by Mr X. C. Holdaway, viee-president, and the first bowl was rolled by Mrs Lancaster. The only visitors present were nine players from Foxton and a rink from Shannon. The following are the details of the games in which the Foxton players took part:— Foxton. Levin.
