DISSATISFIED DAIRY COMPANIES.

Hamilton, October 27,

At a combined meeting of the directors of t he Thames Valley, Cambridge, and Waikato Co-operative Dairy Companies, held at Hamilton to discuss important matters relative to the dried milk and dairy industry generally, the following motion was carried unanimously:— “That this meeting of dairy company directors considers the Imperial Government’s offer of 181 s per cwt. for the coming season’s output to be very unsatisfactory, and that 19(is, the price asked, is very fair and reasonable, and should be adhered to; further, that in the event of a. reduced price being finally accepted, immediate steps be taken to raise the price of butter locally.”
