Begun five years ago as the connecting link between California’s two world expositions in 1915, a coast line state highway between Los Angeles and Fan Francisco will be completed this year, and will constitute 500 miles of Hie finest highway in the world. St. Paul’s tomb is being sought for by archaeologists in Rome. Excavations which have been made near the basilica of St. Paul have revealed interesting pagan and Christian tombs, dating from Hie first period of Christianity in Rome. Professor Lnnciani hopes to dis* cover the tomb of Si. Paul. - Out of 1,25 G essays submitted by Japanese schoolchildren in a competition on the coming of Prince Arthur of Connaught, I0(i were selected as good, out of which six won prizes.
