Pie. A. Smith, writing from Treutliem under date 20th inst., says: “Dear Sir. —On behalf of the last draft, I wish you to publicly thank the Band, Druids’ Lodge, and the public, for the manner in which they turned out on October 9th, and the fitting send-olf they gave us. “P.S. —All the Foxton hoys are well. Smith and Ho wan have been in hospital with influenza, hut are now well again. H. Woodroofe and A. Calder are in the Mounteds, and have gone to Feather.-ton, and the balance of the draft are attached to A/50” ■
