METHODIST CHURCH.
The quarterly meeting of the Eoxton Methodist Circuit was held last night, in the church. Present: Rev. A. Harding, Messrs J. Chrystall, M. 11. Walker, S. Read, A. G. Huntley, and E, Oxley. Reports of various church work, and also the balancesheet, were considered satisfactory. Preliminary arrangements were, made for the forthcoming synod of the Mauawatu and Hawkes’ Bay district, which is to he held at Foxton in November. The Rev. A, Harding accepted a unanimous invitation to remain another year as minister of this circuit.
