CHINESE PREMISES RAIDED.

Auckland, A T esterday

The police on Sunday afternoon raided Chinese premises in WakeHold Street, alleged lo have been used as a gaming house, arrested 41. Chinamen, and seized a large quantity of coins used in (day, marked Fakapoo tickets, and a complete plant for running a Fakapoo lottery. The arrested men had £302 in their possession, one man having £lO2, and another £SO.

At the Police Court, Fong Lin, convicted of keeping the gaming house raided yesterday, was lined £IOO. Wong Tim, for assisting, was mulcted in a similar line. Other eases are proceeding.
