BOWLING.
The annual meeting of the Shannon Bowling Club .was held on Wednesday night. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr Hennessy; vice-president, Mr Gunning; secretary and treasurer, Mr Limey; general committee, Messrs Carr, Butt, Bilderbeck, Fargher, Mitchell, and Gibson; delegate to Bowling Centre, Mr T. Lind. It was decided to open the season on Wednesday, October 9th.
