HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
SPRING SHOW'. The local Horticultural Society’s Spring Show will he held in the Coronation Hall on Thursday and Friday, September 12th and 13th. AH the judges who have been appointed have accepted the positions. The sweets stall will again be under the management of Miss Woodroofe, and Mesdames F. Procter and P. Robinson will have charge of the tea rooms. In connection with the latter, gifts of food, etc., will be thankfully received. There is at present on view in Mr Patterson’s window the new Citizens' Trophy, which lakes the place of the one won outright at the last Spring Show. Entries close at 9 o’clock on the night of Tuesday, September 10th, hut late entries will be accepted up to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, at an extra fee of one shilling for each entry. , Schedules and entry forms can he obtained on application to the secretary.
