STATE COAL.
BORING ANOTHER FIELD. The Minister of Mines (the Hon, W. D. S. MacDonald), said yesterday that boring operations had been in progress for some months on the State Mine Reserve at Point Elizabeth. It was anticipated that a good new coalfield would he opened up, hut the mailer is not yet one of definite knowledge. A report will ho submitted to the Minister soon.
