SOLDIERS SENTENCED.
TWO TO HARD LABOUR,
For disobeying the lawful command of a superior officer, the following soldiers have been sentenced by district court-martial at Trenlluun Camp to two years' hard lab--0ur56570, Pte. T. P. Dixon, A.S. C.; 84228 Pte. 6. Carian, Details. For desertion and loss of equipment, Pte. -I. A. Dunstan, Details (late A Company, 40th Reinforcements), has been sentenced to 5(5 days’ detention and sloppages of pay amounting to I2s sd. The sentence is mitigated so that if the accused embarks for active service outside of New Zealand, then upon arrival at the final port of diseuir barkation, the unexpired portion (if any) of his sentence shall be remitted, and his New Zealand records shall be endorsed accordingly.
