MOTOR ACCIDENT.
FOXTON RESIDENT INJURED. At about 5 o’clock on Wednesday evening, a motor collision occurred on the Rangitikei Line, whereby Mr Roderick S.' ’Henderson, of Foxton, sustained serious injuries. It appears that Mr Henderson, who went to Palmerston this week to go before the Medical Board, was proceeding towards Awahuri on a motor cycle, and by some means collided with a motor ear driven by Mr Jenkins (traveller for Levin and Co., Ltd). Mr Henderson was taken to the Palmerston Hospital, where it was found that his injuries are very serious, both legs and an arm being bi’oken, whilst he also suffered severe injuries to his head. The driver of the car received severq cuts on the face and head. Mr Jenkins alleges that the motor cyclist was travelling on the wrong side of the road, and, seeing the motor cvclist made no attempt to get on the right side of the road, Mr Jenkins turned his ear still further oft’ the road, and the cycle struck the side of the car.
