MOTOR ACCIDENT.
A MARVELLOUS ESCAPE. Christchurch, July 20, When Pilkington’s ClirislchnrchAkaroa mail motor car was near Utile River at noon to-day, on the way to Akaroa, a dog got on the road, and the driver, who was then going down hill, swerved the cai — a big Cadilla< —to avoid the animal. The road being greasy, (Ik* car turned over t wice, The eight passengers had a most miraculous escape, none being seriously injured, although most of them were badly bruised and cut.
