A ROLL OF 00,000

The total number of reservists re maining on the Second Division register is 00,470, according to the latest tally made by the Government Statistician. The total is made no as follows:

Class C(2 children) 14,075 Class D(3 children) 25,630 Class E(4 children ) 12,470 Class F (more than 4) 13,295 The second ballot for Class C, in which 5,000 names will be drawn, will be commenced to-day, and will be published on 24th July. If the third ballot from the class is not again increased, there will thus be two farther lists of C men to be called on.
