CAMPAIGN .IN CHRISTCHURCH
Christchurch, Yesterday.
An efficiency campaign having for iis object (he closing of the liquor trade with compensation, was launched last night at a public meeting. The Mayor presided, and a motion proposed by the Rev. R. S. Gray was carried, expressing strong approval of the proposals of the New Zealand Alliance, and pledging the meeting to do all in its power to make the campaign a success.
