Al• Thursday’* meeting of the Palmerslon N. District Hospital Board a letter was read from the Minister for Public Health, in. which he stated that he had decided to reduce the number of Board members by three. Palmerston N. will lose one member, and the combined district of Manavvatu County and Foxton borough one member. The representation will be as follows: —Kiwitea 1, Pobangina 1, Oroua 2, Feilding Borough I, Manawalu County and Foxton Borough 2, Kairanga County 2, Palmerston N. Borough 3, Horowhenua 2, Shannon and Levin Boroughs and Otaki Town Board 1; total, 15.
