41 MILLIONS COMPENSATION.
Sir James Allen, Aeting-Primo Minister, stated yesterday that the Efficiency Board had agreed to the, pnhlie.alioirof the amount of compensation that the hoard had considered sufficient to purchase the liquor tratlic in terms of the proposal that the Stale should close down (he tratlic and pay compensation. The amount assessed by the National Ellicicncy Board as the value of the tratlic was four millions and a-half.
