AIR.. A. TEEMEWAN’S BODY FOUND.

A search party of about forty Palmerston and Shannon residents patrolled the Manawatu River from the bridge to the Gorge on Sunday, searching for the body of the late Air A. Trernewan, the victim of Friday night’s'motor accident. Eventually the search was successful, the body being found amongst some snags near the mouth of the Pohungina River by a party of searchers in a boat lent by Air Hannah. The remains wore taken to Ashhurst, where an inquest was hold vesterday. The wreck of the car (an eight-cylinder De Dion) was taken .dut of. the river on Saturday. It was so badly smashed that few of the parts remain intact. —Alanawalu Times.
