CO-OPERATTON.
AN important fusion of the interests of co-operative associations in New Zealand has just been effected. Nine corporal ivc concerns have been brought within one general management, under the style of the Farmers’ Co-operative .Wholesale Federation (New Zealand), Limited, with its headquarters at Christchurch, says the New Zealand Herald. Their total subscribed capital is £1,829,775, authorised capital £3,100,000, paid-up capital £1,295,170, and reserve funds £309,238, while their annual volume of business is set down at £9,815,42(5. The names of the institutions so merged are; The New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative, Christchurch;, the Canterbury Fanners’ Co-operative, Timarn; the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company, Hamilton; Ihe Ha wires’ Bay Farmers, Napier; the Southland Fanners,'Gore; the Otago Farmers, Duendin; the Farmers Organisation, Hawenv; the North Ancklahd Co-opera(ive, Whangarei; and the'Distributing Company, Wellington.
