WEDDING.
CRAWLEY—ROBINSON,
A prof I.v wedding was solemnised fit All Saints’ Church, Foxton, yesterday afternoon, wlien Mr Freeman 11, Crawley, of Montoa, second son of (lie late Mr James Crawley, of Brunswick, Wanganui, was married to Miss Nora Robinson, daughter of Mr and 'Airs Francis Robinson, of Pi Kolnkn, Foxton. Miss Ina Robinson,'sister of the bride, and Miss Margaret Crawley, sister of the bridegroom, attended as bridesmaids. Little Miss Margaret, Douglas and her brother, nephew and neiee of the bride, attended as bridesmaid and page. Mr I), R. Richmond acted as best man, and 'Mr J. Crawley as groomsman. Tho bride was attired in a cream georgette dress, finished with pale mauve, and picture hat of mauve and black, and carried a bouquet of violets with mauve streamers, and also an ivory prayerbook. Tho bridesmaids’ dresses were of saxo blue, black velvet hats, and carried saxe blue mud.'; trimmed with fur. Little Miss Douglas was dressed in white velvet, worked with blue, with black hut and white velvet muff, while her brother wore a white suit, and carried a cane. The church was tastefully decorated by the bride’s friends, and above the beads of the bridal party was suspended a beautiful floral bell. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. Raine, the service being a choral one. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a small reception was held at Pi Kotuku.'
Pi Koputu. ' The happy couple left by motor, amidst showers of confetti. The bride’s going-away dress was a grey costume, with a pink hat with a touch of blue. The bride’s mother was attired in a grey costume, with a black hat with a touch of purple. Mrs Douglas, sister of the bride, wore a black coat and skirt and a black hat. Mrs C. S. Robertson, also a sister of the bride, was attired in a navy blue costume, with a black hat lined with blue. Miss Belle Robinsou was in nattier blue and a fawn and black hat. Miss Nison, of Wanganui, was in cream dress and black picture hat. A feature of the wedding was the beautiful violets, which came from Hawkes Bay and Otaki. The seating accommodation of the church was taxed to its utmost, and a number could not gain admission to witness the ceremony. Miss Betty presided at the organ. In common with the residents of Poxton, we join in conveying our best wishes to Mr and Mrs Crawley.
