Fall in.” Away they marched, and on reaching the Palace gates the sentry called “Guard, turn out,” and in all their dignity and imposing array the Life Guards did so, to lie saluted by friend Greene returning their salute by taking off his hat, waving it, and calling, “How are you, boys? Good luck to you.” They were nonplussed, as may readily be imagined. One of the Red Jersey men was told this in Napier by one of the party. ' ;
