PATRIOTIC SHOP.

The Patriotic Shop on Saturday was in charge of Mrs Gibbs and Miss Speirs. The proceeds were in aid of the Red Jersey Appeal. The gross takings were £29 14s sd, which is considered very satisfactory. The competitions were won by the following: —Dinner, Master. R. Hornblow; turkey, Miss Wanklyu; cake, Mr Ingle; baby’s bonnet* Miss Symons; sponge sandwich,' contents not guessed, and sold; lamb (381b5.), was divided among lamb (381b5.), and sheep (05ihs.), were divided among several successful guessers.
