GREY ELECTION.
THE FINAL FIGURES,
Greymouth, May 30. The final figures in connection, with the Grey election are: — Holland »'...' 4.... 2855 Coates ..,.:..■ 2644. The total number of valid -votes cast yesterday was 0,302, as against 0,502 at the Michel-Webb contest. Mr Coates polled 200 votes less'than Mr Michel did at the last election, and Mr Holland 1,000 less than-Mr Webb. Mr Holland's majority over Mr Coates was 211, and Mr. Webb'a v majority over Mr Michel was 980.
