THE RED JERSEY FUND.
KEEN INTEREST IN VOTING CONTEST.
Keen interest is being taken in the voting contest for the juvenile queen candidates in aid of the above fund. So far the votes recorded are as follow:—
Mavis Coley (Farmers) 2,90 ft Stella Robinson (Industrial .. 700 Muriel Petrie (Flaxmillers) .. 402 Rita' Admore (Tradesmen) .. 400 The following donations have been received towards the fund: — The Mayor £5, F. S. Easton £5 r W, Davis £5, J. Colder £l. All donations will be publicly acknowledged and placed to the credit of candidates as donor may. desire; The voting closes at 4 p.m, on Monday.
The takings of the Patriotic Shop on Saturday will lie devoted to the same fund. A special appeal ismade for,produce and other gifts.
