A FATAL FALL.

Christchurch, Yesterday. Stanley C. Lelievre, aged 35, was killed on Saturday at Fisherman’s Bay, near Akaroa, through falling over a cliff 300 feet high. It is not known how the accident occurred.! Deceased had a farm in the neighbourhood, but: resided at Akaroa in the winter months. He went to the farm in the morning, and as he did not arrive home in the evening, search parties went out, the body being found among the rocks. Deceased was the elder son of E. E, Lelievre, and grandson of one of the first French settlers at Akaroa. He leaves a widow and three children.
