IF BABY COULD TALK, HE WOULD SAY-

Do not kiss me on the mouth. Do not lei (he sun shine in my eyes, . nor the wind (ill them with dust. Do not sneeze or cough in my face. Du not expose me to whooping cough, or other catching diseases, or 1 may get sick and die. Do not pick me up by the arms. Do not give me a dirty comforter to suck, or allow me to put my thumb in my mouth. Do not rock me to sleep. Do not lake me to the moving piclures or keep me up at night. Do not -dose me with patent medicines. Do not give me wine, beer, or whisky, coffee or tea, for 1 want to keep well. Milk and boiled water is my prope.i*'drink. I want a drink of water between meals, for 1 get very thirsty. Do not jolt me on your knee when I cry. Do not give me something because I cry, for it is never too early to teach me self-control. I want the right kind of food, and I want to have mv meals regularly. 1 want, a bath every day, and plenty of clean clothes. I want my own bed in a room with the window open, and plenty of time for sleep. I must have it in order to grow strong. I want to be taken out at least once a day. I want mother to love me, and always be gentle witli me. I want mother to take care of herself for my sake, I want to be a good baby.
