FIRE AT THE BEACH.
A cottage at the*' local • seaside, owned by Mr J. Bett, of Palmerston N., and occupied by Mr and Mrs W. Vile, vvjis totally destroyed by fire last night, together with the contents. The inmates escaped in their night attire. Much sympathy is felt for the occupants, who have lost everything. The house was insured for £l5O.
