FIVE CANDIDATES FOR TWO SEATS. Nominations of candidates to fill the two vacancies on the Foxton Borough Council caused by the resignation of Crs McColl and Stevenson, closed at noon to-day, when five nominations, as follow, were received: — Rupert William George Ashmore, nominated by John McColl and John Ross. James William Stevenson, nominated by R. J. Thompson and M. IT. Walker.' The election will be held on Monday next, May oth.
