CROQUET.

Yesterday afternoon Melanies Woods and Perreau, of the local club, journeyed to Leviin and played the holders of the Pollock Gold Stars, Mesdames Kirk and Lancaster. The visitors started off and led for the first half of the game, but after the afternoon tea adjournment the home players h.a.d the best of it, eventually Avinning by IX points after a very interesting and well contested game.
