The Committee ' hopes to reach £3OO by Saturday, when the list closes. . The amount shown, as received in the third list was £227 17s fid, and should have road £275 14s fid. The donation of £lO received, from Messrs Stiles and Matheson, Ltd., was in addition to the donation of a, similar amount to the Levin appeal. The combined weight of Messrs Chrystall, Hawke, Symes and Df.Mandl was 43 stone and half i'i pound, the nearest guess being Mr W. E. Ballard, with 43st. 21bs., .and he is therefore the winner of a quarter of a ton of coal.
