J. C. WILLIAMSON ATTRACTION. At the Town Tall on Friday, April sth, Avill he presented one of J. C. Williamson’s, Ltd., greatest successes of recent years, “Daddy Long Legs,” a comedy play by Jean Webster, Avritten from the book of the same name. Tho play proved an immense druAV in Sydney and Alolhourne, and is now meeting Avith like success in the large provincial toAvns. Apart from possessing a loveable and savccl story of great heart interest, there* is much genuine Avholesome comedy io drive dull care away. “Daddy Long Legs” could hardly fail to please the local playgoers. Certainly it comes with the hall-mark of metropolitan success stamped hard upon it. The play is meeting Avith remarkable success cveryAvhere. Air J. B. North plays the part of “Daddy Long Legs,” and Aliss Alahel Hargrove that of “Judy” (the orphan) with a strong supporting company. The box plan Avill he opened at Airs Teviotdale’s, when heavy advance hookings may be relied upon.
