The Mayor desires to acknoAVledge the .undermentioned further
The Mayor desires to publicly thank all subscribers to the fund for their generous donations, and desires to inform the public that the list Avill he closed on Saturday next, 30th inst. A very liberal response avus made to the appeal for clothing and blankets by Mrs F. Robinson, president of tho Foxton Ladies’ Patriotic Guild. The gifts and blankets totalled 422, and filled four cases. The cases wore consigned to the Relief Committee for distribution io ihe sufferers yesterday.
