MR. McCOMBS, M.P.
Christchurch, March 27. At the Supreme Court this mom-* ing a. creditors’ position avus heard calling upon Mr J. McCombs, M.P., to slioav cause why he should not he adjudged bankrupt. Mr McCombs appeared in person, but Avas not represented by counsel. After argument the avus adjourned to the afternoon to enable Mr McCombs to prepare an affidavit of defence.
