MR. M’COMBS, M.P.

BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS. 1 Christchurch, March 21. In the Chambers to-day, before Mr Justice Stringer, counsel for the petitioning creditors (Kincaids, Ltd., and Bowron Bros.) renewed his application made on the 12th inst., before Mr Justice Herdman, for leave to make substituted service on James M’Combs, M.P., in respect of a petition in bankruptcy. Mr Justice Stringer made an order for substituted service by the,, delivery of the petition at MeComb’s house, and also by sending a copy of the summons and petition by registered letter addressed “James M’Combs, M.P., G.P.0., Wellington.” His Honour fixed the hearing of the petition for Wednesday next, at the Supreme Court, Christchurch.
