THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday as follows : Manila superior grade is in demand for early delivery. The stocks at 28th February were 31,998, as against 33,329 at the same time last year. New Zealand hemp already shipped continues in active demand, but there is practically nothing doing for forward shipment.
