Arrangements had been made to convey the children to the locality in --motor cars and motor lorries kindly placed at the Committee’s disposal by owners. The children were naturally disappointed, but teachers and Committee endeavoured to make up for it by giving the pupils a real good time in the school grounds. Games and sports were indulged in, and the children regaled with sweets and an abundance of refreshments. The teaching staff, assisted by Messrs Rev.
