A suburban contemporary recently received the following advertisement for insertion: “Wanted, clothes, boots, furniture, and provisions; chartered accountant's senior clerk will audiryour books and prepare annual accounts in exchange/' This advertisement, it seems to us possesses all the charms of novel-, ty; but whether the “chartered accountant" would be altogether pleased if he knew that his senior cß*k was advertising upon these' lines is another matter. The business does, of course, concern him very intimately, as doubtless his identity would be disclosed to prospective clients, as some evidence of ability.
