FLAXMILL DESTROYED.
At about 1.30 p.m. on Thursday, Mr Alex. Saunders’ flaxmill, at -Moutoa, near the Shannon bridge, was totally destroyed by fire. The cause of the outbreak was a fire in the tow hole, which quickly spread, the flames being fanned by a strong breeze. Besides the building and plant, a number of bales of hemp were destroyed.” Mr Saunders’s loss will run’ into between £6OO and £BOO.
