The Government* Meteorologist wires as follows at noon, to-day: — The indications arc for a westerly heavy gale, and backing by Avest to south. The Aveather will probably prove squally, Avith heavy slunvers, and will probably become cooler. Barometer unsteady, but rising shjpj'tlv. Tides and seas increasing, ylieas heavy, tides high.
