CORRESPONDENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —Through the medium of your paper, I beg to thank the public for their very generous help towards our Manawatu Hut effort. The appeal was for £SO, but owing to the splendid support given ns, we hope to send £BO. It is impossible for one to thank all individually, but I do so collectively. Many donations were given to (he stallholders, which it is impossible to acknowledge, hut special mention must he mode of a very handsome gift of £lO from the Foxton Racing Club. But to all who assisted in any way, either by donation or assistance —and they are legion—l tender my heartiest thanks. —I urn, W. RAINE.
